I came to Axel for coaching as I stepped into a bigger leadership assignment. I arrived with a mixed list of dilemmas and self-identified areas of improvement, which we boiled down to main areas of: 1) general leadership, 2) building teams, 3) self-reflection including personal values, 4) communication and 5) team psychology.
Axel proved an excellent sounding board for the reflections I brought, while helping to identify the root causes and dig into these through a combination of questions and references to methods/literature. In each session, I raised questions and thoughts, and always left with a clearer mind and new insights. Axel brilliantly adapted to the topic and my state of mind, through being able to coach on high/reflective level, and concrete challenges. Having realised the benefit of these sessions, the perhaps most beneficial take-away was an improved ability to create the time for self-reflection, and tools to reach a deeper level of team reflection.
